A somewhat risqué roadside promotion by Mad Buzz involved attractive promoters tempting road users to 'Hoot if you're Horny' on Valentine's Day. The promotion literally stopped Johannesburg traffic, with motorists being rewarded for their hoots with a Mad Buzz Valentines Day Kit.
The kit consisted of a Mad Buzz energy drink, a Get Buzzed Condom and a Mad Buzz Cocktail Menu.
Mad Buzz took the opportunity to educate the public on the importance of responsibility. The campaign persuaded the public to love and drink responsibility and, as proud supporters of HIV/Aids awareness, used the campaign to put a light-hearted spin on a very serious issue.
