Anti-underage drinking campaign wins SAB top spot

The South African Breweries' new anti-age drinking campaign was named last week as one of the global top six best adverts on TV by www.bestadsontv.com.

The '6 of the Best' guest judge was Nils Andersson, president and chief creative officer of TBWA Greater China, who sat with members of the China creative department in Shanghai to discuss the material.

In November 2015, SAB launched a new advertising campaign as part of 18+ Campaign to prevent underage drinking, by calling on young adults to 'Be the mentor you wish you'd had'. The group hopes to inspire a movement of change with the mentors across the country pledging to accept responsibility for educating a younger friend or relative about choices and their consequences.
