Tin Can's celebrity division appointed by soapie stars for their new band, Sir Duke

Tin Can's celebrity division has been appointed managing agent and publicist by new band, Sir Duke, comprising Strini Pillai, Clint Brink, and Cedwyn Joel of Generations fame and O'Ryan Winter from Backstage.

Strini Pillai, better remembered as heartthrob Devan on SABC 1's Generations, is the business brain behind the formulation of the band. He says the new band is designed specifically to meet the needs of corporate functions, offering diverse dance music to suit all tastes appealing to audiences aged from 16 to 50.

"Sir Duke's greatest asset is the fact that that the band is made up of four celebrities that
millions already know," says Pillai. "All professional musicians, the band plays popular drive time songs common to all radio stations and can easily accommodate just about every kind of genre
including reggae, classic contemporary, as well as favourite golden oldies."

All corporate events end with celeb autograph signing and photo opportunities can be capitalised on with the stars at events.
