DTP: Print & Digital

Location: Cape Town
Work model: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days from home). 
Salary: R20 000 - R42 000 CTC (depending on level of experience)

About our client:
A global brand activation and retail marketing agency is looking for a DTP Operator to join its Cape Town studio. You'll turn creative into flawless final artwork across print and digital for some of the biggest brands in South Africa, from campaigns and POS to large-format retail activations. If you love detail and get a kick out of seeing your work in-store and out in the world, this one's for you.

What the job involves:

• Creating and executing artwork for print and digital campaigns
• Rolling out creative across multiple formats and channels, in line with brand guidelines
• Producing brochures, banners, presentations, digital assets, POS and large-format installations
• Retouching and preparing images to a high standard
• Preparing accurate, print-ready files with the production team
• Working closely with creative, production and client service teams
• Managing your own workflow in a busy, deadline-driven studio

What you need to be considered:

• 3+ years' experience as a DTP operator or artworker in an agency or studio
• Advanced InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• A solid understanding of CMYK, RGB and Pantone colour workflows
• Experience preparing print-ready files, including large format
• A strong eye for detail, typography and layout, which means no typos in your CV or portfolio!
• The ability to prioritise and work well across teams
• A portfolio link must be included in your CV. No portfolio, no response. We want to see print-ready artwork, POS and large-format work, multi-format campaign roll-outs, digital assets and retouching

Bonus points if you:

• Have worked on retail, FMCG or alcohol brands
• Have experience with in-store or activation materials
• Have good design sense and know when artwork just looks right
• Thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast-moving studio
