About our client:
A global brand activation and retail marketing agency is looking for a Digital DTP Operator for its Cape Town studio. You'll create e-commerce artwork for international brands, focused mainly on Amazon Marketplace. This is the studio's first hire for this side of the business, so it's a great chance to make the role your own and set the standard for what comes next.

What the job involves:

• Preparing, adapting and delivering digital artwork for e-commerce platforms, mainly Amazon Marketplace
• Building accurate assets across multiple sizes, formats, languages and platforms, in line with brand guidelines and design systems
• Retouching, resizing and optimising imagery, graphics and typography for digital
• Preparing files for delivery: naming conventions, formats, dimensions, resolution, compression and accessibility
• Handling amends and feedback quickly and efficiently
• Working closely with designers, developers, producers, clients and suppliers to resolve technical and creative queries
• Running thorough quality checks and keeping working files and assets well organised
• Helping improve production processes, templates and ways of working

What you need to be considered:

• 3+ years' experience in digital artwork, creative production or artwork adaptation, in an agency, studio or in-house team
• Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
• Experience producing and optimising assets for e-commerce platforms
• A strong grasp of digital formats, specs, file preparation, accessibility and responsive design
• Highly organised and dependable, able to juggle multiple deadlines and own work from brief to final delivery
• Confident communication and a collaborative approach
• A sharp eye for detail, which means no typos in your CV or portfolio!
• A portfolio link must be included in your CV. No portfolio, no response. We want to see e-commerce assets (Amazon listing images and A+ content ideally), multi-format adaptations and resizes, and retouching work

• Have hands-on Amazon Marketplace experience
• Have worked on international brands
• Are resilient and comfortable with change in a fast-moving studio
• Have helped build or improve production templates and workflows
