More new business for Fleishman-Hillard South Africa
Johannesburg-based PR agency, Fleishman-Hillard South Africa has added five business units within First National Bank and the global networking leader Cisco Systems to its prestigious client base. The FNB business units include Brand Communications, Core Banking Solutions, Card, Insurance and Homeloans. The Cisco Systems acquisition follows that of Comparex Africa in October 2002 and bolsters the agency's already substantial presence in the IT communications sector.
Managing director Lucien Vallun says the new business gains are of major strategic importance to the firm. "The financial services and IT sectors represent important growth opportunities. We believe both sectors will perform strongly in line with the South African economy in 2004," he notes.
