Eskom uses Comutanet Media to encourage electrical safety
The largest supplier of electricity in Africa, Eskom, is genuinely concerned with the safe usage of its product and has developed Public Safety messages designed to educate and inform all communities of important precautions.
To bring the message to the widest possible audience of economically active people, Eskom contracted with Africa's largest commuter media organisation, ComutaNet, to deliver the communication throughout South Africa.
The campaign reaches across several of ComutaNet's integrated media solutions to over 16 million consumers covering audio, visual, and physical consumer interactions. The selected media platforms provided were Rank TV, sound bytes with Commuter FM and Star Music, and numerous interactive promotions in taxi ranks, with in many instances, interactive trailers.
The twelve month campaign will make safe electrical usage 'top of mind' among all the Nation's communities, even the most outlying villages.
