Sponsorship needed for AIDS/HIV awareness concert

Kirk Franklin was voted for, for producing the best gospel song and another Grammy for the best contemporary R&B gospel album. He will be performing on the 7th in Cape Town and 8th of December 2007 in Randburg, Johannesburg.

South Africa has more than five million people living with HIV/AIDS and is one of the countries hardest hit by the epidemic. South Africa's HIV/AIDS prevalence rate (the percentage of people living with the disease) is much higher than that of the Sub-saharan African region overall and is among the highest in the world although prevalence rates have begun to stabilise. The epidemic has already had a profound impact on many aspects of South African society and is projected to severely affect the country's demographic structure and its economic, education, and health sectors in the near future.
