Kensington High School requires sponsorship to develop sports structures, moving learners away from drugs and crime and making it a better enviroment to work in and safer for kids to play in.
Hi,I(Mogamat Jakoet) would like to take this chance to address the nation announcing that Kensington High School is on the move. I have been recently appointed as the sports master and up to now its been one challenging journey. We are situated in the urban area but with the increase of drugs, crime and the increase of child abuse.
We do not have enough support structures in place for the kids to partake in an extra-mural activities. Up to now the kids have been very keen on playing sports, but with insufficient facilties and equipment our kids cannot go further with a sport they enjoy. We have produced many superstars in the past eg. Shaun Bartlett (Bafana Bafana) and Grandwald Scott (Ajax Cape Town).
