The Citizen rocks Amadeus for charity

Clear your diary because the Citizen Cares initiative is hosting a rocking charity show which is not to be missed! "Rock Me Amadeus" will take place at the Barnyard Theatre in Broadacres on the 1 November 2007 and every last cent raised from ticket sales will be donated to various worthwhile charities.

With end of year functions coming into full swing what better opportunity to combine having a good time and supporting a charity than to attend the Rock Me Amadeus show. An added bonus for individuals and organisations wanting to book tickets for the event is that The Citizen has reduced the ticket price from the usual R 115 per person to just R 95 per person.

"The Rock Me Amadeus show is the 4th Charity show of this kind which we have initiated and this year we are wanting to sell out. The Citizen is also not just donating the proceeds of the event to charity, but every last cent raised will be donated," says Clare Soutter, marketing manager at Citizen. "At this time of year everyone is getting into the celebratory mood, but we very often forget that there are those out there who are far less fortunate than ourselves."
