In the build-up to Mandela Day, the Relate Trust held its annual beading challenge in Nobel Square at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on Thursday, 13 July. Beading Gogos and Tatas each paired up with a celebrity to try and bead the winning bracelet.

#KnysnaRelief: DHL Supply Chain collects and distributes donated aid to victims
The Knysna fires, which began raging on 7 June 2017, saw families left destitute. Through a joint partnership between DHL Supply Chain, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Express, 15 superlink trucks became available to transport stock, which included blankets and other items donated from various corners of the country, from Gauteng to both Knysna and Cape Town.

Project 90 by 2030 recently donated and installed five solar power charging units at the Abaphumeleli Home of Safety in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. The solar power charging units were built by the high school learners who are involved in Project 90 by 2030's ‘Playing With Solar' project; the youngsters are taught the importance of being environmentally conscious and looking after the planet in addition to being trained on how to build the solar units....

KNP staff awarded for excellence in the workplace
On 26 May 2017, the 18th Kruger National Park Achievement Awards took place in the park, at Skukuza, which saw finalists selected based on a set of strict assessment criteria. The awards were judged on overall performance, which included implementation of various systems, financial performance and management, guest complaints and compliments, compliance to policies and general neatness of the facility.
