#KnysnaRelief: DHL Supply Chain collects and distributes donated aid to victims
The Knysna fires, which began raging on 7 June 2017, saw families left destitute. Through a joint partnership between DHL Supply Chain, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Express, 15 superlink trucks became available to transport stock, which included blankets and other items donated from various corners of the country, from Gauteng to both Knysna and Cape Town.
The DHL team loaded up to eight tonnes of stock with the assistance of 40 volunteers, which was delivered within 24hrs from Friday, 9 June 2017 to Monday, 19 June 2017.
