Sony embarks on new PlayStation promotion strategy

Following its six-month review process, Sony has decided on a new global overarching strategy to promote its PlayStation brand. This includes appointing adam&eveDDB, part of Omnicom's DDB network, as its global creative agency of record.

The reasoning behind the agency review and strategic repositioning was the fact that past campaigns "didn't cross borders." The full PlayStation lineup includes its classic PS4 console to include PlayStation Pro, PlayStation VR, the PlayStation Plus membership service and the digital PlayStation Store.
