Record number of visitors to RWC website

www.rugbyworld.com, the official website of the Rugby World Cup 2003 served 183.3 million hits in the first nine days of the tournament. A site record of 44.2 million hits was recorded on the opening day. Peak volume for a single hour was 13.3 million hits, recorded on 10 October. Most of the website users are in the UK (26%), followed by Australia (19%) and the USA (11%).
