Nedbank's social media analytics capability was named global runner up in the Customer Analytics and Big Data category at the 2014 global Efma Accenture Innovation Awards ceremony, held in Barcelona on Wednesday 15 October 2014. The provision of a big-data platform that facilitates innovative client engagement put it alongside Intesa SanPaolo from Italy that took first place.
