New student award added to 2017 New Generation Social & Digital Media Awards

In partnership with the University of Johannesburg, the 2017 New Generation Social & Digital Media Awards will add a new student-centric award, the New Generation Outstanding Students Award. The award is open to all registered first-, second-, third-year, and honours students who are studying at a university in Africa.

This award is aimed at acknowledging an individual or group's effort in the creation and novel use of the communication curriculum content to develop a digital campaign that promotes community stakeholder engagement, with excellent use of resources to drive positive community impact through active citizenship.
