TB Media awards open for entry
Entries for the second annual Red Cross/Lilly MDR-TB Partnership TB Media Award have opened for print and online journalism that has provided responsible, accurate and timely information on tuberculosis prevention, research, development and treatment in general circulation media between 1 January 2010 and 25 February 2011. The deadline for entries is Friday, 25 February 2011. Winners will be announced on 24 March 2011, to coincide with World TB Day. The first prize is R20 000, the second, R10 000 and the third, R5000.
