Wine's intriguing December cover bears a striking resemblance to the poster for the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, thus signalling the theme of this issue which also announces the Diners Club Winemaker of the Year. "The suave ladies' man with a passion for fast cars and a penchant for martinis, good wine, expensive Champagne and caviar epitomises Wine's pay-off line, 'a taste of good living'," explains Wine's editor, Christian Eedes. "That, coupled with the release of the new Bond movie in the same week as the December issue goes on sale, was an opportunity too good to pass up. The cover and content explore that synergy."
