Reader-generated issue for teen girl title
The November 2008 issue of Saltwater GIRL magazine takes the appeal of user-generated content (UGC) and applies it to print. Over the past six months, readers have had the opportunity to write features and submit them for possible inclusion. “It is becoming more and more important to have a relationship with your readers in order for your magazine to be successful and that is for me the most fun part of the job,” comments Mea Neethling, editor of Saltwater GIRL.
