Absa Cape Epic sponsorship extended

Mountain bike stage race, the Absa Cape Epic, has secured a new three-year contract with Absa Corporate and Business Bank (ACBB), which has been title sponsor since 2006. The contract will include sponsorship of the 2010 - 2012 events. Says Oscar Grobler, ACBB head of commercial products and financial institutions, “At ACBB our intention is to be more than a bank, to be a financial partner. The structure of the race, where two riders compete as a team, associates very well with the aim to nurture partnerships. In addition to this, the event itself is very well-organised, it is unique and has become an international benchmark in mountain bike stage racing. We've seen the development and growth of the Absa Cape Epic into one of the best in the world and are proud of our association with this event.”
