Norwegian mobile marketing company opens in SA

Johannesburg is the fourth office for Norwegian mobile marketing company Vidamo, after Denmark and Spain launched successfully two years ago. Co-founded in Oslo by three Norwegians and Adam Holtrop, a South African born in Cape Town, the company focuses on enterprise mobility and CRM. “We're interested in introducing the revenue potential of mobile services to enterprise in South Africa, as well [in] discuss[ing] new levels of integration across communication channels. These days all customer contact is marketing; brands should see their CRM activities as a cross-sales platform,” says Holtrop, whose clients currently include companies such as Carlsberg, PepsiCo and Colgate Palmolive.
