Facebook's Internet.org to launch in Nigeria
After a successful roll out in Zambia, Kenya and Ghana, Facebook's internet project, Internet.org, is set to launch in Nigeria in May. The platform will include Facebook as well as providing basic internet services for information on health, finance, employment and more without data charges.
This development was announced at the Mobile West Africa 2015 conference, currently happening in Lagos, by the company's Head of Public Policy in Africa, Ebele Okobi.
