SANEF wants Broadcasting Amendment Bill reworded
The South African National Editors Forum says that some clauses in the draft Broadcasting Amendment Bill need to be reworded, as they may suggest that the Communications Minister has power to approve or disapprove what is essentially a journalistic ethical issue. SANEF spokesman Elizabeth Barratt says the bill is confusing and they are seeking legal advise to have it worded differently.
