Pro-X Summer 2009
The canals where taken over by the wakeboarders doing spins and flips off various kickers and rails as spectators had views from above on the bridge or right up next to the obstacles.
Skateboarders and rollerbladers performed technical tricks on the half pipe and street course that was set up for them in between the retail outlets.
The trail bike riders stunned the audience with their display of skills and balance as they hoped around from log to log and along the narrow paths which they built for their demo displays.
The BMX riders amazed the crowds with their technical tricks of spins, tail whips and flips as they made their way around the track that was set up for them.
The highlight of the show without a doubt was the FMX, with Table Mountain in the background, it was the perfect setting for the countries best riders to show off their skills, which are at an international standard with backflip combinations and all sorts of death defying tricks which sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Some of the countries top bands kept the vibe going with some great music in between the sessions. The heat was hot! This just added to the action and there was not a disappointed person in sight, this years Pro X was definitely not to have been missed - but don't worry if you did, next year is going to be massive!
