The Color Run Rainbow Tour comes to Stellenbosch

From local is lekker to hyper-localisation: Township consumer trends to watch this festive season

The Color Run Rainbow Tour, which has made its way around the country, will conclude in Stellenbosch on 18 February 2017. The run will take place at Hoërskool Stellenbosch from 8.00am.

Known as the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”, The Color Run involves a five kilometre un-timed race in which thousands of participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in a different colour at each kilometre.

Capitec Bank, The Color Run’s headline sponsor, as well as The Color Run have partnered with Adopt-a-School Foundation and are donating R10 from every ticket sold to support education in each city hosting The Color Run.

Runners encouraged to fundraise

Charity and school fundraising is a big part of The Color Run. Register your own school or charity on the Fun Raiser programme and raise money for every ticket sold under your unique Fun Raiser code. To give back, contact The Color Run on hello@thecolorrun.co.za.

Heart FM is the official media partner to The Color Run in Stellenbosch and DJs will be on the decks welcoming Color Runners with awesome beats as the run gets underway.

Ticket details

Tickets are available online from The Color Run website thecolorrun.co.za/tickets and Facebook, and are priced from between R225 and R300. Manual entry points are listed on The Color Run’s website.

Color Runners will each receive a race pack which includes a Rainbow Tour edition race T-shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos and a race number.
