New display holds 10kg on cardboard column
The TX Lamá, a patented cardboard display that opens automatically into position, is a fresh and functional marketing tool claimed to be setting an advertising benchmark in the South African market. The new technology is entirely automatic, requires very few set-up actions and is very compact when folded. For the first time, products can be displayed in a three-dimensional stand, which carries up to 10kg of weight per shelf.
Derek Smit, president of Marin's Southern Africa says, "The most interesting part is that the technology permits clients to insert pre-packed goods on several shelves. This is a long-awaited solution and I am proud to announce its arrival in Southern Africa."
The idea came from a famous coffee producer who was looking for a Lamá that could integrate four racks of coffee bags and hold up to 4kg per shelf, as an alternative to a pre-pack.
It consists of high-quality graphics printed on environmentally friendly paper. The units are expertly designed to meet the demands of blue-chip clients such as Pritt, Sony, ABI, Edcon, Samsung, Brandhouse, Absa, SAB Miller, Henkel, Moneygram, Five Roses, Hyundai and VW SA etc and remain reportedly the world's largest point-of-sale company.
Marin's was founded as an advertising agency in Paris more than 20 years ago. In 1997, in response to its customers' requests, it created a standard column, which combines an accommodating folding-unfolding value as well as an automatic opening to the appropriate dimensions and allowing the optimisation of print and material. Every column can be assembled and linked together to deliver even higher, wider, greater modules. It can hold products and improve brand presence in every retail sector. Its three main advantages are transport saving costs, easy installation and value for money.
