"The forum has a legacy of drawing together some of the brightest minds in business, development and politics to tackle issues in the developing world. We are especially excited this year to be hosting the event in South Africa, when the country has a unique opportunity to seize the legacy of the World Cup to advance its growth and prosperity. The forum will be the centre of economic discussion during this exciting time," says Fortune editor, Andy Serwer.

From South Africa, President Jacob Zuma, Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, Graça Machel, Trevor Manuel, Barbara Hogan and Desmond Tutu will attend.
