kulula.com wins SA's top business airline
To win in the business category, kulula was rated the favourite airline among 300 C-level business decision makers (CEOs, CFOs and COOs) from organisations of various sizes and industries, each of whom were interviewed by research house TNS.
Peter Storrar, Client Director at TNS says: "kulula's consistently strong usage base has helped it to achieve first place standing. Some may think of kulula only as a low-cost brand targeted at consumers, but businesses are clearly recognising the value proposition and have chosen to use kulula more than any other brand."
Shaun Pozyn, Head of Marketing for kulula, says: "We are thrilled to have received this ultimate vote of confidence from those South Africans who fly the most, our business travellers. We are very proud of this prestigious award, and the fact that it was our discerning business travellers who rated us so highly."
Commenting on kulula's recent streak of awards, Pozyn says: "kulula's good performance in the Sunday Times Top Brands Survey, as well as the SA Consumer Satisfaction Index (SAcsi) win earlier this year and the 2014 win in the 'Best Low Cost Airline' category (Africa/Middle East) of AirlineRatings.com's international Airline Excellence Awards, tells us that we are meeting and exceeding customer expectations. We have worked hard to innovate and improve our brand offering over the past year, as part of our ongoing efforts to make the flying experience as convenient, safe and fun as possible."
The Sunday Times Top Brands survey, now in its 17th year, rates a spectrum of brands in various categories to determine their standing in people's minds, and how attractive they were to users and non-users. It is also in its seventh year of successfully partnering with independent research house, TNS South Africa and is the longest running consumer brand survey in South Africa.
