Hot Online Fashion to donate percentage to Feed SA

From March until May 2013, Hot Online Fashion will donate a percentage of every sale made to Feed SA. After which, shoppers will have the option of selecting whether they want to make a donation upon checkout or not. Hot Online Fashion's marketing director, Daron Chatz says, "This is the beginning of something, we hope, will make a huge difference. I've worked with the organisation before, so launching our inaugural initiative with it seemed right - but we're looking for other organisations, that are close to our heart, to partner with in the near future."

"The organisation is extremely grateful to Hot Online Fashion... where feeding a passion for fashion enables users to feed hungry hearts, minds and tummies too," added Jo-Anne Tooch, co-executive of Feed SA.

Giving back is the new black

Earlier this year, the website teamed up with Greenpop to pledge a tree for every 100 sales and this is not the first eco-initiative adopted by the fashion etailer.

"We believe that we have a responsibility to give back, to reduce our carbon footprint and tread lightly - especially in designer shoes. Our eco-friendly approach echoes in everything we do, from our website that's hosted on a carbon neutral server, to our printed collateral that only uses sustainably farmed paper and eco veggie inks," concludes Chatz.
