Consumers in South Africa and abroad are demonstrating an increased demand for more spicy foods. This is evident in the exceptional growth of a wide range of hot condiments and sauces that are now available to consumers.

Try Chicken Peri-Peri...
So that retailers can catch the best of this wave, Pieman's Pantry has reintroduced Chicken Peri-Peri in an all-new recipe specially created to satisfy this demand.
“Stores should not be without this exceptional new flavour,” says Sales and Marketing Director, Neil Waldeck.
There are no artificial preservatives and the pastry does not contain any trans-fatty acids, so consumers can tuck in with total confidence and the tangy bite is just enough heat to satisfy the chilli enthusiast, yet mild enough for the average consumer to enjoy.
Chicken Peri-Peri joins the classic line-up of other popular Pieman's flavours such as Pepper Steak, Chicken & Mushroom, Steak and Kidney and Mutton Curry, all firm favourites nationwide.
The company is also launching savoury mince jaffles this month, adding yet another hot meal to its range.
Jaffles are an old favourite in South Africa, their name often being used to describe toasted sandwiches with sealed edges. The most popular flavour remains savoury mince. The company has improved on the idea by replacing the bread with delicious golden flaky pastry. The filling is fresh-cut onion and chunky potato with lean, savoury pure ground beef.
