Kotze believes that continued marketing success for the brand will result from identifying appropriate target markets then developing a deep-seated understanding of their triggers while staying abreast of industry trends. He also believes that a wine label needs to communicate its unique selling points persuasively to cut through the clutter of a somewhat saturated market.
Primarily responsible for managing the local and international marketing functions of Leopard's Leap, Kotze will also analyze existing distribution channels to maximize results and identify further opportunities by planning and implementing targeted promotional strategies. Working closely with the brand manager, he will not only increase brand awareness but will ensure that sustainable brand growth strategies are considered in all markets in which the brand is active.
