Circumstance red wine trio out now at Waterkloof
Waterkloof Estate has releases its 2010 red wine trio in its Circumstance collection. "The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah each express the grape types from which they are made with purity and integrity and set a high benchmark," says Waterkloof winemaker Nadia Barnard.
Recommended food partners for the merlot are duck, braised lamb or venison fillet. The Cabernet Sauvignon teams up well with Springbok loin or T-bone steak with Béarnaise sauce and hearty casseroles or lamb or sirloin steak, infused with rosemary and thyme complement the Syrah. All have a recommended retail price of R155.
