Migrate becomes a teenager

"We chose "thirteen" as our theme for issue 13. It's young and fun, it's superstitious, it's triskaidekaphobic and definitely lucky to be able to showcase some incredible creative work from here and abroad," says creative director of Migrate, Roanna Williams.

Turkish delight, love on film

Don't know what to do during a 13 hour flight? Draftfcb Johannesburg creative director, Tiaan van den Heever records 13 hours in flight, on sick bags. One of the international contributors, New York photographer Lauren Fleishman, who is a recipient of a 2010 residency with the Camera club of New York, portrays 13 beautiful love stories of couples who have been married for over 50 years.

The issue also offers an opportunity to tap into a young illustrator's mind, such as Chris Valentine, who is working on various commissions for international and national brands.
