Clients prefer to ''Keep it simple''

A growing number of advertising and marketing clients prefer to "Keep it simple". That much is evident from the many new client gains notched up by Keep it simple Marketing & Advertising (KISS). The agency has landed several new accounts in the recent past.

Sleep Active

Local memory foam bedding specialist Sleep Active has entrusted its complete brand positioning strategy to KISS. The agency will start by revamping the company's corporate identity, followed by a new website and then the total marketing communications package, from branding through to advertising.

Sondombili Solutions

This importer of 125cc commuter motorcycles hopes to get South Africa's massive commuter market moving under its own steam and KISS is the agency it has appointed to help it achieve these aims. KISS is tasked with providing Sondombili with ongoing marketing support in the form of advertising, promotions and brand positioning.

Mr Spices

Rapid growth left the popular Mr Spices company with a superb customer base and high level of awareness, but without consistent branding and in dire need of a positioning strategy. KISS has already completed Mr Spices' logo refresh, created consistent branding for all of its spice and sauce labels, and also completed a positioning strategy for its myriad spice ranges, along with competitor evaluations.

Awevest

BEE investment firm, Awevest (African Women Enterprise Investment) is a new firm in the experienced hands of Liz Sangion. The company recently entrusted the development of its new brand, corporate identity and the production of a corporate profile, along with the ongoing custodianship of its brand to KISS.

Sea Fever

Sea Fever, the popular dive school, dive operator and provider of chalet accommodation in Umkomaas, has appointed KISS to produce its expo stand for Dive 2006 at the Wesbank National Boat Show, along with a refresh of its logo and corporate identity which includes producing new brochures, POS and revamping its website. Down the line, KISS will concentrate its efforts on a promotional campaign.

Espinho

The Espinho brandname was created for this new client whose core business is the import and resale of food products, including rice, sardines and olive oil, among others. KISS is now responsible for the rollout and application of the brand throughout the various product ranges.

Apollo Supplies

The provider of cold meat products, Apollo Supplies, is expanding its business from that of third-party distributor to become a brand in its own right. To facilitate this process, it appointed KISS to recreate its brand identity and extend this to everything from promotions to the packaging of meat packs.
