Fontera brings MoPay to South Africa

Fontera has announced that it has concluded a partnership deal with fellow South African company, MoPay International. The deal sees Fontera adding MoPay Internationals mobile payment solutions to their offering with MoPay supporting and marketing Fontera products and services, in their markets internationally.

MoPay is one of the top international suppliers of mobile payment and communication solutions to merchants and banks, telecommunication network operators, card operators and web-based vendors. They supply client-specific and tailored solutions from a number of proprietary and patented, also exclusive access technology components, not to mention licensed ones and an array of distributorships.

The partnership deal will see Fontera offering MoPay's extensive range of mobile payment solutions to merchants, vendors and e-commerce businesses in all their markets including the US, Africa and Eastern Europe. Fontera will be rolling out the range of MoPay products and services to the South African market in the second half of 2006 and concluding deals with major suppliers, clients and retailers.
