JNR-Level Visual Designer

Position summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior-Level Visual Designer to join our dynamic team.  This role is integral to maintaining design excellence, meeting deadlines, and driving the creative vision forward.

Key responsibilities

• Project management

• Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to the senior designer and other stakeholders effectively.

• Manage workflows and allocate tasks across the team to ensure that project deadlines are met.

• Monitor project timelines and identify any risks, providing solutions to mitigate delays.

• Design execution

• Deliver high-quality design work across various mediums, including print, digital, and motion graphics.

• Develop creative concepts and execute designs that align with brand guidelines and meet client or company objectives.

• Stay updated on design trends to bring fresh ideas to the team and projects.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as social, paid media and digital to produce cohesive campaigns.

• Support the senior designer in strategic planning and creative direction as needed.

• Client interaction:

• Present design concepts and revisions to clients, incorporating feedback as necessary.

Skills and requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, After Effects, and/or Premiere Pro.

• Working knowledge of motion graphics and video editing.

• Advantageous: Experience with Figma and advanced motion graphics.

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy principles.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all designs meet high-quality standards.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and feedback clearly.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, or a related field.

• A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.

• A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude.

• Passionate about design and eager to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
