Johan Zandberg to head up Ads24

Johan Zandberg has been appointed senior general manager for Ads24, having been manager of the Media24 community newspapers for the past 5 years. The appointment, which sees him in charge of the dailies and communities operations, coincides with Ads24 launch of a partnership with Soccer Laduma, an established publication among South Africa's top selling men's titles in the national fold, which focuses on the sporting arena.

He succeeds Sarel du Plessis who becomes the new head of RCP Media from 1 April. Zandberg’s career began in 1980 as advertising representative in the classified department of Die Burger, Beeld’s sister publication.
