Old Mutual appoints top advertising executive to board of directors

Old Mutual has appointed Nunu Ntshingila as an independent non-executive director of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company of South Africa (OMLACSA), with effect from 18 September 2007.

Ntshingila is currently the chief executive of Ogilvy SA. Prior to this she was the chairperson and managing director of Ogilvy Gauteng.

In 2007 she was awarded the Financial Mail/Ad Focus Agency Leader of the Year award and was also o­ne of five women to be nominated Business Woman of the Year.

Ntshingila is also a non-executive director of Transnet. She was previously a non-executive director of Pamodzi Investment Holdings - a leading South African investment company - and served o­n the boards of the Media Development and Diversity Agency and the V&A Waterfront.
