Former news editor joins MBP
Seasoned journalist and former news editor Estelle Ellis has been appointed as account manager at the Cape Town head office of Marcus Brewster Publicity.
During more than ten years in newspapers, Ellis was variously acting news editor at The Star in Johannesburg, news editor at Die Burger in Cape Town and group legal writer for Independent Newspapers nationally. During her decade in newsrooms, Ellis helped shape reporting on some of the biggest South African stories of the last few years: the criminal trial of Schabir Shaik, the Travelgate saga as well as the Jacob Zuma court cases.
Ellis has a BA Law degree and an Honours in journalism.
