Verashni Pillay appointed to #HuffPostSA
Media24 has appointed Verashni Pillay, the current editor-in-chief of the Mail & Guardian, as editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post SA. Pillay is a Rhodes University graduate and worked at News24 before joining Mail & Guardian in 2009. Pillay has won numerous awards such as the CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year award and several Standard Bank Sikuvile awards.
Media24 has also appointed Pieter du Toit as the deputy editor of The Huffington Post SA. Du Toit is currently the assistant editor for Huisgenoot.
