Joanne Scholtz Appointed Media Director At FCB Johannesburg
Scholtz joined FCB Johannesburg as online media director in 2001. She has numerous IMM and other qualifications, as well as 10 years of marketing and advertising experience at companies such as Microsoft, Oracle Airtime Sales and Primedia Online.
She is also an AMF board member responsible for the Interactive Media (including Interactive TV and SMS) and PR portfolios, managed the development of the AMF website (www.amf.org.za) and is currently its Webmaster.
Commenting on the appointment, FCB South Africa CEO Neil van der Weele said that, during her time at FCB Johannesburg, Scholtz had quickly become one of the fastest rising stars in the media industry thanks to her expertise in channel planning, her high energy levels, and superb leadership skills.
