SABC appoints Victor Dlamini as new GM: Corporate Communications

SABC Group CEO, Mr Peter Matlare, has announced the appointment of Victor Dlamini as GM: Corporate Communications at the SABC, with effect from January 20.

Mr Matlare said: "I am pleased that Victor has agreed to join us. He is an experienced corporate communications executive who has a proven track record in managing matters of a complex national nature. What is also exciting is that Victor brings an understanding of the media."

Mr Dlamini has worked in both the private and public sectors, variously at the Independent Elections Commission, Uthingo - the national lottery operator, the Development Bank of Southern Africa and JCI Limited. He began his professional career as a news reporter at the Sunday Tribune in Durban.
