Amathole Football Academy seeks primary sponsor for 2008 and 2009 seasons

It's expansion across Soweto and Orange Farm and into Mphumalanga, the Free State and Limpopo Provinces requires administrative sponsorship for the 2008 and 2009 seasons with an option to continue into 2010 and beyond.

The Academy structure has both mass participation and excellence Academy divisions catering to approximately 80 players within the excellence Academy and over 700 junior players within its mass participation ranks. Associated satellite club structures are based throughout Soweto and Orange Farm. 2007 saw satellite structures gaining membership from the Free State, Mphumalang and Limpopo Provinces. 2008 and 2009 will be used to consolidate membership in these areas with further national expansion from 2010.

The Academy is currently also in the process of getting more actively involved in women's football and seeking funding to develop disabled sport in general. Through our activities in Soweto and other developing townships, we are able to support local community organisations and small business development. We are also actively involved in player education support and sport development training for coaches, administrators and officials alike.
