The Men's Foundation held two 'shave-offs' in Durban to officially mark the start of Movember in South Africa. For more than a decade and in 21 countries, men have been growing out their facial hair to raise awareness and funds for men's health during the month of November.

The Soul City Institute, a social justice communications organisation, in its new incarnation, will address social issues and how they affect young woman and girls who have been identified as an at-risk population group.
