Most followed world leaders on Instagram

Burson-Marsteller's World Leaders on Instagram study shows that, with six million followers, Barack Obama is the most followed world leader on the social media platform. Second is Dmitry Medvedev with two million followers.

The study found that more than 70 percent of governments worldwide have set up an official Instagram presence, but a third of the 305 accounts surveyed are dormant or inactive. See the full study here.
