NBC keeps the Days Of Our Lives running for a record time

Daily Mail reports that American commercial broadcast television network NBC has renewed its soap opera, Days Of Our Lives, for a 55^th season. First introduced in 1965, the renewal makes the soap opera the network's longest-running show to date.

Despite losing viewership over the years, the character's mischiefs have kept viewers glued to the screen; the show's 2017 season even increased its viewership by four percent. Last year, the soap broadcast its 13,500^th episode.
