Grootbos a finalist at The World Legacy Awards

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve has been named as one of 15 finalists in The World Legacy Awards. The World Legacy Awards is a partnership between the National Geographic Society and ITB Berlin and showcases leading travel and tourism companies, organisations and destinations.

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve was recognised for the work of its Grootbos Green Futures Foundation. Of an original 150 entries whittled down by the judges, the 15 finalists are drivers of the sustainable tourism transformation of the travel industry based on National Geographic's work of inspiring people to care about the planet.
