Sonja Shear appointed Sony Ericsson market unit head

Sony Ericsson South Africa announced on 7 October 2009 that it has appointed Sonja Shear as market unit head for South Africa, succeeding Martijn Lutgerink, who returns to Germany after his two-year tenure to establish and grow a local team. Shear, who has been with the company for three years, was previously with Ster-Kinekor as marketing director for the home entertainment division. She brings a wealth of experience and an ability to lead her team with motivation and passion.
