PEP triumphs at Marketing Excellence Awards

PEP Stores, together with ZOOM Advertising, swept the 2009 Sunday Times Marketing Excellence Awards with a Gold medal in the category Brand Marketing Campaign of the Year ‘and also triumphed by winning the overall Grand Prix prize for the PEP repositioning campaign in Generations, the popular TV soapy. The campaign saw the re-positioning of PEP written into the storyline, which culminated in the first flighting of the actual brand TV commercial. The line between reality and fiction was then further blurred when the new PEP brand identity was revealed in every store nationally the next day. These accolades join the list of awards that PEP and ZOOM have collected for its Generations campaign, including a Gold at the 2008 Roger Garlick Media Innovation Awards.
