IAB supports free access to online information

IAB SA is supporting the launch of the issue paper addressing perspectives on universal free access to online information in South Africa. The Free public Wi-Fi and Zero-Rated content issue paper was prepared for the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) with the assistance of Applied Law & Technology, in collaboration with the SouthAfrican National Editors' Forum (SANEF).

The paper is aimed at examining the background and legal frameworks that support a right to universal free access to online information, with a specific focus on the South African context.
